This new song is about relationships, dating, and the identities we assume
I was dating this guy and I remember that moment very clearly. I was just surprised that he had the cheek to tell me that his communication is not that great. He basically said he made it into his identity. “I’m just not a good communicator.”
And I literally realized that he is a very good communicator when it comes to his job. He just chose to play his game. To maintain his self-image. To stay detached in relationships.
So I couldn’t help it but turn it into a song :)
