Why checking time compulsively may actually be a clue you are in the wrong timeline (Book summary)
4 min Onboard Video, 1 Min Book Summary & New title
Dear eternal beings,
Your feedback and comments re-shaped my writing and I’m infinitely grateful to ALL of you reading this now!
This week, I was working on an outline and wrote a short simplified overall summary of the book that I wanted to share with you. It’s so simplified that this is how I’d explain it to a 10 year old.
Here goes:
When you look at the digits on your screen and feel that contraction in your body, it’s time to do a Process to jump out of the wrong timeline. And then - use timing, not time - to know exactly what is the ONE effortless action to focus on immediately to exit the waiting place and enter the enjoyable flow where the need to compulsively check the time disappears. (timelessness)
The process I will try to describe in the book:
Has nothing to do with slowing down
Trying to focus better
Prioritizing
or better planning
And everything to do with:
Discovering your hidden agenda that is the only thing that ‘steals’ your time
Unwrapping the 3 gifts from the contraction when we feel ‘time is running out’
and,Discovering the ONE effortless thing to focus on immediately.
I’m ditching the previous title as the ‘Mighty fuck all’ might mislead people into thinking that doing the Mighty nothing is some sort of lying around, relaxing or forgetting about the pile of responsibilities (The book is really more about effortless action).
So the new temporary title is:
UNCLOCKABLE: Quit The Time Slavery, Impatience and Overwhelm by Using a Mind Blowing 5 Step Time Check Process
Eternal gratitude for all of your feedback and shares! Do you know 1 or 2 other people who might benefit from this book?
Stay tuned, more to come by-weekly,
The Reality Czech,
Olivia
(Please comment below, not privately to my email, as I’ve created this thread for this reason).
First, I want to say your work on this book is inspiring. I'm as excited to read it as I am watching you write it.
Good luck with the outlining process. Sometimes I outline, sometimes I wing it and work it in later.
Second, I like this title better. From my experiences in watching others go through the process, we discovered that shorter titles are better. Having a word or phrase like Unclockable really sticks out! Keep that up!
Have a great week. No pressure. Can't wait to see the next update.
I like that introduction and the way in which you gradually enter the reader who lives with the concern of managing his time to a scenario that perhaps he does not imagine. I like the use of words like '' effortless action '' but above all, as you introduce the term '' ONE '' in capital letters as a hidden reference to consciousness and its awakening. I think that as the book develops, this word will reveal itself and develop with greater relevance.
I also like the new title UNCLOCKABLE I think it sounds very European or Western as if referring to our busy daily life. I think you could even add to the cover of the book when it's done a picture of the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland with its huge clock and its characteristic rush. Well, he is a character that is very similar to us in our current relationship with time. I like what you have written and it reminds me of your concern to create a movement that helps us all to wake up. I think that collaborating in the process of your book is making me very enthusiastic. Thank you very much for making us part of this.
